David Grant directs Waymarker Press as part of his calling to guide others to experience Jesus in scripture, prayer, and authentic Christian community.
Meet David & Karla
David Grant is a teacher and mentor with a passion for guiding others to experience Jesus through Scripture, prayer, and authentic Christian community.
He served in public education for more than three decades as a middle school teacher, school principal, and university professor. In 2024, David stepped away from public education to focus on discipleship ministry.
He serves as an elder at Grace Bible Church in Helendale, California, where he leads The Ridge, a ministry focused on guiding teens into authentic faith and real-life connection with Christ.
David is a licensed minister in the Evangelical Free Church of America and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.
He and his wife, Karla, invest deeply in the spiritual lives of students and families. His mission is simple: help the next generation know Jesus personally and walk with Him daily.
